revolving around the lives of employees at a hokey haunted mansion tourist trap that turn out to be actually hella haunted but most of its spirits are either benevolent or ineffectively malevolent

  2. I suddenly want to tell Peeta everything about who he is, and who I am, and how we ended up here. But I don’t know how to start. Worthless. I’m worthless.

Do you know what I want to see?

I wanna see a really cool Disney princess who can’t sing. I wanna see this pretty young girl who sounds like a beached whale when she tries to sing “Happy Birthday.” And none of the musical numbers feature her because she doesn’t sing.

But halfway through the movie, she figures out

    She can rap like hell

    Nicki minaj voices her

I would watch this. Nicki Minaj actually does great voice overs so this is a win

Everything about Amy Poehler is impishly angelic. This delightful juxtaposition runs deeply through her comedy, as well, starting with the stark contrast between her appearance and love of raunchy humor. A Massachusetts native, expletives come naturally to her. She follows each shocking and Boston-accented “f*ckin’ asshole” (words she has uttered on many talk shows, to the audience’s delight) with a full-bodied and gleeful laugh. “Poehler’s laugh begins as a chuckle and crescendos to a side-splitting guffaw,” describes Sean Evans of the Daily News. However, her adorableness is not cloyingly sweet nor that of a girlish people-pleaser, but rather a misleading outer appearance that makes her raunchiness and ridiculousness all the more comedic. x

DC is being all gritty and “realistic” and Marvel just had a movie where the galaxy is saved by a dance-off and the power of friendship

Saturday, September 13, 2008.  On this day 6 years ago, Tina Fey did her Sarah Palin impression for the very first time alongside a then-very pregnant Amy Poehler who was doing her impression of Hillary Clinton.  You can re-watch the full sketch here:

We were eating lunch with the door open, and a monkey started to peek through the door.’Isn’t that cute?’ we thought. 'Hello monkey,' we said. Then the situation quickly deteriorated.
